The one I posted is what's known as a high-quality video game rip, where a song is remixed to sound like something else. In this case, the Cannon Fodder theme was mixed with elements from Inspector Gadget -- primarily from a Cinemassacre video where Gadget reviewed Minecraft.

I didn't learn about Cannon Fodder until I watched Gemini's review of it on his Ancient DOS Games show, and I was like "Ohh, so that's where that one song from Rangest came from". Hearing this remix just made me a little nostalgic about the original song and the game (Rangest that is, not Cannon Fodder which I've never actually played).

the whole point of siivagunner is that their "high quality video game rips", while appearing to be authentic game music on the surface level, are mashups with memes or jokes added to them. They'll usually take a game's soundfont and make a track that starts like the original track but sooner or later diverges, revealing the joke.
