Are there any walkthroughs? I am stuck with the part of how to open the door in the man's house (Part I) of where the monsters are.

Why are you playing the Mike Sweeney games anyway? I am sure there are more quality games in the archive somewhere.

I liked Mike Sweeney.

And if you're referring to the locked door in the basement that supposedly leads to a dungeon, you don't get to go there in MS1.

I didn't mean the one in the basement (the one in the house with the sign that said "Being invaded by monsters!"
I did everything I could to go to the Seaside town but I can't do some things (bribe the ship dude, get the east gates open in the 2nd town, or open any cellar doors). I seem to be stuck. And I can't get through the Tonos guard west of his mansion.

The Mike Sweeney games were pretty well-done.

It doesn't matter, I figured it out and I beat the game!!! But for what I was asking, in the elemental dungeon, how do you destroy the two rocks in the "honor" way? The magic spell is create obstical.

Next game: The Adventures of Yoshi (adventure in alphabetical order)

You should go play Demon Earth, it's a really good game.

Umm... yeah.

I don't think the boards are really a good place to ask for advice on older MZX games. I mean, well...there isn't really a section dedicated to it, now that I think about it. Not enough demand. The best way to figure it out is by using the editer.

great contribution ;)

actually i liked the mike sweeney games a lot, the humor was hit and miss, but the gameplay was the kind of thing i enjoy. but whoa, a walkthrough request for a megazeux game that old, you don't see that kind of thing pretty often.

People need to start writing FAQs and walkthroughs about old MZX games... Would be a good 'cottage industry' ;)

The Mike Sweeney games were cool, never beat them, but I remember them being pretty decent games back in the day...

Eh...I don't think anyone would find it rewarding enough to take the time to do.

I suppose you're hoping for an Engine walkthrough, tiesto? Actually, Hercules (and someone else, The Agonizer maybe) wrote a walkthrough for the IF game Brotherhood. I think it might even be on the IF site, still.

I beat Mike Sweeney, but now I am having trouble with the rock puzzle in the pawn shop in "The Search for Jake" (the game where the volcano destroys the statue of Jake.)

I also am looking for cheat utilities that will help me with "Demon Earth".

Dude, don't complain and ask for help, just keep playing until you figure it out. That's how everyone else does it.
