Typical Behavior of an MMO player.

A funny, but small film showing the typical behavior of an MMO player. The site DOES EXIST but the name of the player does not.

The end of the film happens more often than it should.

ADMINS, PLEASE REMOVE ANY THREADS SPOILING ANY PART OF THE MOVIE.

WARNING! HEAVY CUSSING, AND EXTREME VIOLENCE ARE FOUND IN THE CLIP! DO NOT WATCH IF YOU CANNOT TOLERATE ANY OF THESE!

This hasn't got anything to do with "MMORPG", it's a multi player FPS that's not needed to play online. ANYWAY, I'll have to watch this again with speakers tomorrow. Being without speakers blows =(.

Heh. That's exactly what myg0t's like, I hung out with them for a few months. It's quite amusing watching people get sp0rkeh'd over IRC. It's really a question of ethics, though. If they're asking for hacks, the least they could do is go look for some themselves, it's not really that difficult to find. Something should be done to discourage this, but I'm not sure that trashing their computer (what sp0rkeh does, along with the sp0rkeh_fix.exe "removal tool") is the right way of discouraging cheating.

<[myg0t]MOD> 10. To this date, how many sp0rkeh victims are there, 10, 50, 500+?
<[myg0t]MOD> 500+
<[myg0t]smotpoker> alot
<[myg0t]MOD> 500
* [myg0t]MOD hands [myg0t]MOD a cold beer for getting the last 3 questions!

There'd be at least one victim a day when I hung out in #myg0t, which is kind of sickening. It's also really sad that people can't separate themselves from a game enough to prevent events like those depicted at the end of the movie. Is it that hard to disconnect and join another?

sp0rkeh is a trojan that scans the registry for cd-keys (for Steam games like half-life and counterstrike and shit) and then reports them back to the fucking faggots at myg0t

Actually, there's several variations. Some just fuck your harddrive, others take cd-keys, others mess with your IRC. I saw the first and last in action.

www.pwned.nl is a small movie clip, so I decided to put it in television/movies.

This is like the worst flash movie ever.

Well not really but it's bad.

And not even remotely funny, nor related to MMORPGs. Nor is it typical behavior.

And uh people don't go on killing sprees just because of counter strike hackers either.

With sound, the thing wouldnt load. And now that I've watched this garbage, I am not only discusted, but angered that people still continue to make Michael Moore level crap, which defies what Guy considered crap 50 times over.
Then again, I did not hear the audio, then again, I dont think it would have been enough to justify the main character's actions.

If you want a real MMORPG joke, go to newgrounds.com and look for a title called 8 bit RPG. Now THAT is funny.

Ok then, have a nice day.

Well, audio does help when forming opinions of something you've never seen before =\ It also helps to understand exactly what's going on in the movie.
