A Note About Artwork

It is permissable to post tasteful nude art, provided you include the disclaimer "(18+)" in your topic title. This is not the same thing as posting porn or other smut. Know and be mindful of the difference. If you are unsure of whether an image you wish to post is within the bounds of good taste, run it by an Admin privately first.

This one was inspired by an idea I had...other than that, it doesn't make much sense. Just a random image:

I like your art, keep up the good work! I love how you work with shading, by the way. I can't shade worth crap.

Thanks a lot man. I was thinking of ditching this thread, but I think I'll keep it up. I draw regardless of what I'm doing at dmzx.

And hey, if you can't shade, the only advice I have is keep trying and practicing and you'll improve whether you're aware of it or not. That is, if you're even serious about getting good at shading =D Otherwise, disregard this paragraph.

Bramblekid, I like your last drawing a lot. I also agree with Micah's comment, though =P Oh and <3 to the other drawing.

Heh...cool thanks, koji, revvy...I think I will seriously change that picture. Let me try now, while I have free time.

p.s. had SATs today. wooty.

edit: I changed the picture. I made the guy a bit taller, and his hands aren't fully hidden. I think I've fixed it, but the other computer with the scanner-- the monitor doesn't turn on. Piece of junk :D heh.. So I'll have to wait for a new monitor or something before I can post it.

Here's a tired guy I just drew. Apparently his head is quite tall to fit in his hat.

his right foot is stepped back. You can see the heel behind his left-- he's sort of stumbling forward.

Yeah, he looks more like an amputee than a stumbler. Other than that I love the shading.

I suppose this almost counts as art. It's from a game I tried to make and then the file got corrupted and I can no longer save my progress.

Another one from a rather long side-scroller perhaps one day I'll finish (started it probably 3 years ago and then stopped working on it after a while)...

thanks a lot man.

galladin: Yeah um, a few years back I don't know if that would be considered wierd...that game was/is way old-school =D

koji: Yeah uh, I'll try and do that next time. I've never taken screenshots before and for some reason I couldn't easily convert it to what I wanted.

Bummer. Instead of the screenshot, Koji, you can now just download the game. Wonderful.

Oh...sorry Koji. Unlucky things just seem to befall you, don't they? Hope things cheer up in your life.
Just go back to my first post in here and look at the bunny. That should do the trick.
