Actually, that's not old at all. That might be the age of someone who just graduated college.
In other words, Happy Birthday Wervyn! And just like everyone else: happy birthday lolz

So anyway, one of the greatest things I've gotten for my birthday so far is tickets to see the Serenity screening last...which I bought myself, admittedly, but--BUT!--it was supremely awesome. When this movie comes out in September (or later in other countries), you go see it, because it totally kicks Star Wars ass. Do it as a present for me. Hell, do it as a present for yourself, you won't be disappointed, even if you have no idea what I'm talking about.
Of course, watching the movie late at night and then staying up for hours to read responses on it across the web means that I slept through all my classes, oh well. But it's my birthday and I say I don't have to go, nyeah.
"You can't stop the signal."

....Incompetence is to be unable to grasp the truth.
......And escape is to run away from the truth.
It is useless to run, since the truth is right next to you.

In exactly 50 minutes as of this post, it will be my birthday. I just thought I'd help contain my anticipation by posting about it before the Invision software does. And hey, I've got some packages on the way that might arrive tomorrow.

<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.
<@Tixus> And set the microwave to run for a minute and 28 seconds.
<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.
<Insidious> Tixus accidentally microwaved the 80s
<Insidious> that is my takeaway from this

1. The girl that printed the letters on my birthday cake happened to sit next to me on my graduation night. (I wish I knew her name!)
2. It seems the packages containing my birthday orders will arrive tomorrow because UPS is stupid. Even though one of them is coming via FedEx. And I don't know when the third package is coming, either.

So far I've gotten a David Eckstein jersey (he's my hero), and rights to my dad's truck once he gets a new one. The one I'll be driving is very nice, though.
