Sonic Jam
Sonic Jam is a collection of various different gameplay styles: You do normal platforming and speeding in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, you get to shoot your friend in a 1v1 battle in Sonic the Hedgehog 3's Battle Mode, and you search for keys to get closer to the exit in Sonic & Knuckles.

At this point, I'd say that even the Tiger Game.Com port of Sonic Jam would be better than this. Hell, even the bootleg Sonic Jam 6!
