A pretty neat idea that would work better in a game designed around it. The engine as presented needs better tuning (the only direction it is useful in is upward (at the expense of downward visibility and it will try to read over the board edge, though this may be intentional. There are a couple of graphical bugs, but nothing major is wrong. If this were used beside resource-hungry robots or scaled up, it might have performance issues, due to it using CHAR_X/Y/PIXEL in favor to the CHAR EDIT command or CHAR/BYTE/CHAR_BYTE.
