Crisis in Stuffyou City
Originally the winning entry from the 2002 Dualstream Day of Zeux 3 (4th Quarter).
You play as Dr. Glorzinplatz, on a mission to find a cure for the plague that has been taking lives throughout Stuffyou City for the last four months.
This new edition of the game features a few changes:
* The exposition text in the intro now goes by much faster.
* You can fast forward through all the text-heavy cutscenes by holding down the space bar.
* The third part of the game now uses a PC speaker sound effect in place of the depreciated mod sam command.

This game is not bad, I do think it is a little odd however that it actually won the 2002 DoZ... Still, it's a funny series of 4 minigames, none of which we haven't seen before. You follow the instructions of a bumbling fool of a King and have to gather items that are (this is Kuddy We're talking about) all completely food-centric in the interest of saving your patients from a terrible plague. When none of the items you gathered for the king work you find that 8(@^@(@*^)#Q((*@&(&*(^*R#@*$&^!*#&%!_@)#_()&*& ^&^^^%@(&*$^!@&#!@)_%)_(** @%@)!(*)#)!@)_&#%*(@&^*(&(!*@ $&)(&_&@!$(***#%(^*^^*&* and everything is peachy!
Anyway, the gameplay is 4 different minigames, the first of which is a "Dodge-the-object-while-moving-at-a-set-rate," the second of which is "use-only-15-shots-to-hit-10-targets," the third is... Bah, just play the game. It's fun for a laugh, I bet highly more bearable without the constant animations on the text in cutscenes slowing everything down.
I don't feel good about giving this game more than three stars. Let's face it, there is essentially nothing here that we haven't already seen in an MZX game, the graphics are okay, but super sloppy in some places (a billboard being customfloor?), the music/sound is all right I guess, mostly just inoffensive, the gameplay is scattered about 4 engines, none of which could actually stand up as their own game, and it's short as hell, finished it in less than 7 minutes... But the writing is pretty entertaining.
Anyway, I'll give it 3 of 5 and say that you should play it. Fun little game, and I do mean little.
