This game is a general Weirdness clone that looked promising at first, but had meager gameplay and reused music. The only action to speak of is a decent RPG engine and running from an explosion; however, it is not fun, because I have to insist that an RPG engine that only has Attack and Defend as usable options is completely missing the point if the enemy has no charge-up attacks.
TWO stars, because it isn't a total pile of slag!

This is an updated version of KM's Univers, a special edition if you will. The plot and settings remain mostly the same; but the graphics have been improved, some things have been simplified, and combat has been changed into an RPG format.
And yet, it somehow manages to be even less playable than the original version (which isn't exactly an example of quality either, but at least that one's finishable)! To start with, buying ammo was coded such that you instead sell ammo. There also appear to be broken board links in the town and cave areas. And to top it all off, the only boss battle (which is inaccessible without editing anyway) crashes MZX because the music that board used was a MOD renamed to GDM! Makes me wonder if the creator ever bothered to test this game he made to see if it was actually playable from start to finish.
Overall, this is an unfortunate example of a special edition being worse than its original version. Stick with the original Univers.
