Space Battles is an awful shoot-'em-up game that uses basically the built-in player controls while scrolling the player forward at a rapid pace.

You're expected to dodge walls of spikes, entire screens filled with enemy bullets, and enemies that do 40 damage every cycle if you run into them.

You get about 500 health, but no lives. This could have worked out well, and the first 15 levels are beatable. After that though, you're faced against a laser barrage that will invariably shred you because you can't move your ship up or down.

There's an attempt at having large bosses, but they're stationary and the first boss battle's victory check is messed up so you have to play everything after level 3 though the editor.

There's no music, and the graphics usually don't include more than 3 colors on a board. Most objects are red.

Not very good, but kind of interesting! It'd be a two star game except for the luck-based, virtually impossible final five levels.
