The flaws with this engine are about half presentation, half design. Presentation first, the walls look different from the side than they do from the front, the colors don't fade evenly, the UI is a mess, objects have no transparency against walls, and there's pretty much nothing to do. Design wise, everything's split between around 20 to 30 robots which handle individual segments -- perhaps a necessity when this was made but just irritating now -- and the types are hardcoded, with little room for customization. You can't see a wall at the deepest depth but you can see the sides of walls that go to the deepest depth, which just screams inconsistency to me. Speaking of inconsistency, the various depths of walls are not consistently spaced, so it looks like reality is warping while you move (combined with the texture inconsistencies). Star for effort, but how much effort was really put into this (judging by some of the slant chars in the game, not much...!!!)?
