Though I can't claim to have played the first game, nor do I care to, Partition Magic: The Saga Continues is a horrifying train wreck in its own right. For starters, the archive includes three .MZX files, and only PQMagic2-280c.mzx contains an ending; the other two just end on an incomplete gameplay board halfway through. Regardless of which .MZX you end up loading, the very first cinematic of the game ends with a fade to black that takes five minutes to complete. This would be bad enough were it unintentional; however, paul then decides to insult the player by not only acknowledging that it was done on purpose, but then immediately flashing to a bright white splash screen! I'm not gonna lie; this is the absolute worst and most infuriating thing I've ever seen in a MegaZeux game. Should you decide to stick with the game after that absolute travesty, all you'll find is a bunch of ugly, drawn-out, semi-interactive cutscenes that any newcomer could have thrown together in their first month. In conclusion, stay far, FAR away from this mess.
