Gack, what a mess this was. In fact, I don't even think anyone outside of Kuddy got seven's judging results, and I don't remember Werv ever making a version of his sheet with comments.

The DQed entries were revealed without even any score.

I need to press Kuddy about these points, since he'd obviously be the one most likely to address them.

The Christmas 2005 DSDoZ was held in late december of 2005. The most noticable thing about it is that it was the first one that was without the anonymity rule, which was met with mixed reactions. The topics were Valor and Organized Crime

Team of One was an MZX programming group originally formed by [[Revvy]] early in 2001. Members came and never officially went, but the only recognised releases were [[The Revvy Who Stole Christmas]] and [[xxxx: i am vinn diesel]], and an assortment of small engines bearing the text "(c) 200x Team of One." [[Lancer-X]] of [[TimeZone]] and [[Revvy]] attempted to release a conjoined showcase of TimeZone and Team of One projects, but it never materialized. Likewise, Apollyon, ShloobeR and Revvy worked intensively on a New Year's Special entitled [[New Year's Fever]], but which never was completed over the course of three years. Team of One quietly dissolved during the Great Group Revulsion of 2005, when everyone came to their senses and realized that "companies" were actually pretty useless.

Sometime in the summer of 2001, Diamond sold ownership of #mzx to Veloso. Soon after, Veloso left the community and passed ownership to mOdac, known then as mordac.

In August 2006, Terryn silently passed ownership of #mzx to Kuddy, as he found he could no longer maintain the channel for personal reasons. Kuddy edited the access levels that users need to perform specific tasks, allowing for some users to have special privileges such as autovoice, and, inspired by a similar system used in [[Megazeux_(channel)|#megazeux]] during its Austnet days, implemented an "op-in-training" system which granted limited op privileges to users to judge how well potential op candidates handled their power before they were promoted to full ops. From that point on, "op-in-training" status has been the standard for all users who are to be given power in #mzx.

Two months later, in October 2006, Kuddy stated that he was burnt out on moderating #mzx, and stepped down as an operator, passing ownership of the channel to RoSS.
