Successfully used the theme, but didn't really do much with it.&lt;br /&gt;

Player control was a bit awkward but passable. Enemy AI was bad, &lt;br /&gt;
for instance the first &amp;quot;boss&amp;quot; spams bullets aimlessly and is prone to&lt;br /&gt;
getting into a loop where he keeps falling off the screen endlessly&lt;br /&gt;
until you hit him. No horrible gameplay problems, at least.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
	Technique	15/80&lt;br /&gt;
Programming seemed rudimentary and overall game construction was&lt;br /&gt;
uninteresting. Use of bullets and other MZX defaults is kinda &lt;br /&gt;
off-putting, to me at least.&lt;br /&gt;

Compares unfavorably to Caverns of Zeux. Sorry.&lt;br /&gt;

The limited amount of music was good. Lacking in variety and sound &lt;br /&gt;

Successfully captures many aspects of old-skool MZX games. Specifically,&lt;br /&gt;
the aspects we'd all like to forget about. Credit for actually having a&lt;br /&gt;
complete game instead of a broken, unfinished entry like so many others, &lt;br /&gt;
but not the strongest entry overall.&lt;br /&gt;

of points. This is nonzero because what did exist wasn't&lt;br /&gt;
bad at all.&lt;br /&gt;

Horribly incomplete, which is unfortunate. There was some amount of &lt;br /&gt;

Very solid. A few minor annoyances in level design and control, but all&lt;br /&gt;
together very good.&lt;br /&gt;

Very nice. The spriting and custom attack systems are neat and impressive to &lt;br /&gt;
have implemented successfully under the time constraints of a DoZ. Docking 5 &lt;br /&gt;
points mostly because, uhm, in theory it COULD have been better. I think.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
	Graphics	80/90&lt;br /&gt;
Very nice, especially for a DoZ game. The player animations and explosions are&lt;br /&gt;
in particular quite nice and very fluid.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
	Story		25/50&lt;br /&gt;
The story carries a very important message about choosing your CPU. Other &lt;br /&gt;
than that, decent enough but (by the team's own admission) sorta trails off&lt;br /&gt;
and is a bit haphazzard. Slowly revealing the story from the disks makes&lt;br /&gt;
the story seem less rubbish than it actually was. ;)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Solid but not amazing.&lt;br /&gt;

Battle system is nicely done, but a little simplistic tactically and controls are &lt;br /&gt;
sometimes nonresponsive. Obviously DoZ time constraints are tough, but with a little&lt;br /&gt;
more work this could be really neat. Battles are sometimes sluggish due to huge&lt;br /&gt;
distances you have to move but with tiny movement ranges. :(&lt;br /&gt;

Not bad overall, but very arbitrary puzzles and a few bugs bring the score down. The&lt;br /&gt;
amount of length and detail put in are nice, however; even if nothing is particularly&lt;br /&gt;
fancy it's a lot of stuff for a DoZ game.&lt;br /&gt;

Complexity and use of Robotic is minimal, but better than nothing.&lt;br /&gt;

Definitely leave something to be desired. Too much use of default chars with&lt;br /&gt;
minimal editing.&lt;br /&gt;

Largely nonsensical but hey this is a DoZ. At least there was more of it than&lt;br /&gt;

turned out pretty well, even if it doesn't really stack up next to the games&lt;br /&gt;
by multiperson teams with lots of prior experience.&lt;br /&gt;
