This game was paulguy's first game ever completed in Megazeux. It got completed in the summer of 2003 after being worked on for several months. It was developed using the 2.6x (Exophase/DOS) series of Megazeux versions. It wasn't a very good game as it had rather poor graphics and sound effects along with very little plot aside from "collect bongs and joints to get high.". The game is a hybrid sidescroller and adventure game, switching from the one to the other part way through.
The game faced several problems from the start including general loss of interest at times, the creator's complete lack of creativity and any kind of skills for doing much anything decent in Megazeux at the time. At one point, Megazeux crashed and corrupted several boards which had to be redone. In the process a Homer Simpson boss was lost and replaced with a crappy moving gun on the ceiling.
After 8 levels of mindless sidescroller levels, the game changes into a more standard top-down adventure game, separated by a small PacMan-like minigame. The goal of the sidescrolling levels was simply to make it to the end of the board without getting caught by your parole officer. The goal of the adventure part was simply to meet uup with your drug dealer and get high some more.
