Summer 2008 Dualstream Day of Zeux

The Summer 2008 Dualstream Day of Zeux was hosted by asgromo and started on Saturday, July 19th, 2008, 5PM GMT (ending the same time the next day). The topics were "Bureaucracy" and "Summer 2008 DsDoZ and the End of the World"; the judges were Exophase, Wervyn, Malwyn and Risu2112. This Day of Zeux had a considerably low turnout, due to several factors. Firstly, the run-up to the DoZ was low-key. Secondly, there were a pair of snafus involving planning and information: the first was when Terryn put the dates of the MZXCon in the poll for wanted DoZ dates, and the second when asgromo thought the DoZ was going to start on a Friday instead of the voted Saturday. Another sticking point was the specific topic; nearly everyone considered it too specific and cumbersome. (Lastly, the MZX community simply was more dormant than usual during the DoZ.) Notably, this was the first DoZ without an entry by Quasar since the Summer 2000 DoZ.

There were ten entries; two were disqualified. One, asiekierka's, was given straight zeroes due to him submitting a ZZT game for the DoZ.
