ZZT is an ANSI-based GCS (game creation system), created in 1991 by Tim Sweeney, founder of Epic Games. ZZT is the predecessor to MegaZeux, and the creator of MegaZeux--Alexis Janson, was a well-known ZZTer prior to creating MegaZeux.
