Jkpj13 (channel)

The correct title of this article is #jkpj13. It appears incorrectly here because of technical restrictions.

This is an IRC channel created by jkpj13 in September 2006. It has a few frequenters from #mzx and a few from some other channels that are unrelated to Megazeux or ZZT or any GCS at all. They found there way in from jkpj13's oddly successful methods of advertising it by simply inviting random people to it. It attracted a surprising amount of members in the first week but has somewhat rolled off in membership to just a few people.

The channel is run by jkpj13, paulguy, Akai and Blizzarddog (a non MZXer). For a short time, Commander Pancake was an op but he quickly lost his ops and finally got banned from the channel. The op's general philosophy of the channel is you can talk about almost anything as long as it doesn't totally offend them.

It is quite successful despite it being created by such a new member to the community. The channel averages about 6 to 8 members but can get up to 10 to 15 members when it is busy. Oddly enough, even with it's having so few people, it still tends to have more females in it than #mzx on a good day.
