=== #1871: Trinity Gameplay: 20/65 Graphics: 45/50 Plot: 25/50 Theme: 30/45 Innovation: 15/40 Discretion: 10/15 Music: 20/30 Sound: 0/5 --- SUBTOTAL: 165/300 Weight rank: 67/100 --- TOTAL: 232/400 Comments: Excellent graphics and nice music, but I got extremely annoyed by the random pop-up battles. It was all like "Walk three steps, not knowing where you go and be attacked!". The plot wasn't too bad, but I didn't find the game very original or enjoyable. A shame -- it could've been really good. === #27523: FIND TEH MEDICINE FOR OLD MAN Gameplay: 15/65 Graphics: 5/50 Plot: 2/50 Theme: 5/45 Innovation: 2/40 Discretion: 0/15 Music: 0/30 Sound: 0/5 --- SUBTOTAL: 29/300 Weight rank: 0/100 --- TOTAL: 29/400 Comments: Heh... A one-board item-hunting game. Obviously submitted as a joke, but it wasn't even THAT bad. I actually enjoyed the one board. :P Other than that, this is not getting much from me. But hey. :P === #32335: Panacea Gameplay: 35/65 Graphics: 25/50 Plot: 20/50 Theme: 30/45 Innovation: 15/40 Discretion: 10/15 Music: 30/30 Sound: 2/5 --- SUBTOTAL: 167/300 Weight rank: 83/100 --- TOTAL: 250/400 Comments: A nice game, but rather bland. Nothing special in the area of graphics, programming or use of the theme. It did play rather smoothly, so that's good. Another big plus of this game is the music, which I thought was most excellent. === #37701: Larry the Junkie Gameplay: 10/65 Graphics: 40/50 Plot: 15/50 Theme: 30/45 Innovation: 10/40 Discretion: 0/15 Music: 20/30 Sound: 2/5 --- SUBTOTAL: 127/300 Weight rank: 17/100 --- TOTAL: 144/400 Comments: When I loaded this game, I thought "hey, this is gonna be fun!". Alas... 'press SPACE to talk'? Oops. Couldn't talk. That's the major downfall of this game... a huge bug. A shame, since it seemed funny to me and the graphics were rather spiffy and funny (just look at the characters :P). The chiptune music was pretty nice, too. Alas, alas, that's all I have to add here. === #47506: Crisis in Stuffyou City Gameplay: 35/65 Graphics: 48/50 Plot: 30/50 Theme: 30/45 Innovation: 25/40 Discretion: 10/15 Music: 24/30 Sound: 3/5 --- SUBTOTAL: 205/300 Weight rank: 100/100 --- TOTAL: 305/400 Comments: Definitely the best entry of the day, in my opinion. The graphics are fresh and funky, the gameplay is varied with some funny mini-games, the music is good and the overall feeling was good. Once again, it wasn't very original as far as the topic was concerned, but then again, none of the entries really were. === #51929: The Herb of Tridia Gameplay: 20/65 Graphics: 25/50 Plot: 20/50 Theme: 30/45 Innovation: 10/40 Discretion: 4/15 Music: 20/30 Sound: 3/5 --- SUBTOTAL: 132/300 Weight rank: 33/100 --- TOTAL: 165/400 Comments: Disappointing -- it all started out too fast-paced and the gameplay is plain annoying. The whole thing just didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Not very original either, but hey, at least the graphics were fairly okay and the music was good. === #64966: All in a Day's Work Gameplay: 30/65 Graphics: 25/50 Plot: 35/50 Theme: 30/45 Innovation: 15/40 Discretion: 8/15 Music: 0/30 Sound: 0/5 --- SUBTOTAL: 143/300 Weight rank: 50/100 --- TOTAL: 193/400 Comments: This could have been much better if it had been worked out a bit more. The whole entry seemed a tad bit off to me. Still, the plot twist at the end was good enough. The different attacks were nice, too. It's a shame you didn't include any music -- it cost you a lot of points, I'm afraid. === RANKING (BEFORE WEIGHTING RANK): 1) #47506: Crisis in Stuffyou City (205/300) 2) #32335: Panacea (167/300) 3) #1871: Trinity (165/300) 4) #64966: All in a Day's Work (143/300) 5) #51929: The Herb of Tridia (132/300) 6) #37701: Larry the Junkie (127/300) 7) #27523: FIND TEH MEDICINE FOR OLD MAN (29/300) === DISQUALIFIED ENTRIES: #26513: Use of premade material (Xenogenesis). #30275: Not a single relation to the theme (basically it's nothing). #41192: Breaking the Anonimity Rule (ouch, reading really IS a gift). #48493: Oops, forgot to send the correct version of the entry (this is only the title screen). #8975: Was submitted during last DoZ as well. P'ah. SHAME ON YOU~!
